A new trailer for Castlebound, an action roguelike where you lead a group of heroes as they protect their own walking castle against endless hordes of enemies, was presented during The MIX Spring Showcase. The game will be available on PC (Steam), PlayStation, Xbox, and Nintendo Switch platforms, and combines elements of tower defense and randomized combat.
The game offers fast-paced and dynamic combat where you need to jump, dodge, and use devastating attacks to repel enemies. Protecting the walking castle is key to survival, and every step through dangerous territories brings new challenges. Battles are intense and require quick reactions and strategic thinking. Additionally, Castlebound allows for play in a solo mode or cooperatively with another player in co-op mode.
Castlebound features multiple playable heroes, each with their unique abilities and playstyle. As in typical roguelike games, every new playthrough in Castlebound is unique, with procedurally generated challenges and the possibility of unlocking new skills, heroes, and upgrades.
