Indie studio Ultaan Games is bringing Claymores of the Lost Kingdom, an RPG-infused roguelike deckbuilder, to Steam on November 25, 2024. The game offers an ambitious mix of deck-building mechanics and open-world exploration. Fans of Slay the Spire and Dream Quest will feel right at home as they enjoy the genre’s unique twist.
The game stands out with its deep customization system, allowing you to shape your class with every new run. Increasing attributes like strength, dexterity, and wisdom unlocks cards tailored to specific deck compositions, making each playthrough unique. With over 300 cards, 150 keywords, and five fantasy races, each with their own starting decks and bonuses, Claymores of the Lost Kingdom delivers a personalized and strategic experience.
You’ll explore an open world featuring 99 locations and 24 settlements, encounter bandits and raiders, and face elite enemies. Procedural modifiers spice up battles, while a multi-ending finale evokes the feel of classic pen-and-paper RPGs.
