Two Star Games, the studio behind the popular Choo-Choo Charles, officially announced its next project during Summer Game Fest 2024 – CUFFBUST, a multiplayer prison escape game launching on PC via Steam in 2025.
CUFFBUST is designed as an exciting multiplayer experience where you team up with other players to break out of prison. The game boasts a variety of interactive features including destructible environments, proximity chat, multiple escape routes, and 20-player lobbies. You’ll need to equip yourself with tools, avoid guards, and execute escape plans before reinforcements arrive.
The environment is highly interactive. You can break through doors, vents, and weak walls using explosives or other tools to reach restricted areas. For a more discreet approach, you can dig underground tunnels using nothing but a spoon.
The game emphasizes using your surroundings to your advantage. You can check cameras to track guards, hijack the PA system to communicate with teammates, and destroy generators to cut power to the facility, disabling turrets and phone lines.
