Indie studio Alientrap is preparing to launch DuneCrawl, a new online co-op action-adventure game releasing on Steam in the first half of 2025. We first reported on the game three months ago, and now the first trailer has finally been revealed.
DuneCrawl invites players to explore a vast open world as Guardians roaming the desert, either alone or with up to three friends. The game focuses on navigating expansive seas of sand aboard the Dune Crawler, a ship equipped with cannons. Players will take part in thrilling missions, discover hidden treasures, and face the challenges of a harsh desert environment.
The game features a beautifully hand-crafted world where you’ll explore mysterious ruins, interact with NPCs, and uncover the secrets of the Dune Crawler. Along the way, you’ll defend cities from bandit attacks, uncover hidden loot, and even ride giant armored scarabs across the dunes. As you progress, you’ll build your reputation and earn the title of the greatest adventurer. The game promises a blend of exploration, combat, and strategic challenges, making it an immersive experience for fans of cooperative adventure games.
