Endless Legend 2 Introduced the Coral Faction ‘Aspects’ Through a New Trailer

Hooded Horse and Amplitude Studios have revealed details about their second faction coming to the upcoming turn-based strategy game Endless Legend 2. The Aspects are unique in that they bring a fascinating symbiosis of organic and mechanical nature, connected through a coral network they share as a collective consciousness called the Chorus.

The Aspects stand out as an economic and diplomatic empire, focused on cooperation instead of conquest. Their greatest advantage lies in the unique mechanic of expanding coral terrain. This faction deploys so-called Coral Spores, which slowly colonize the surrounding terrain. These coral growths can not only develop into cities but also serve as nodes for further network expansion across the entire map.

The coral infrastructure provides numerous benefits, from faster city development and resource gathering to military advantages like accelerated healing and movement. Even water surfaces become traversable when covered by the coral network. Expanding the coral to the territories of other factions opens up the possibility of diplomatic bonuses, making it easier to form alliances and peace treaties.

Endless Legend 2 is set to arrive in Steam Early Access during 2025.
