Following an extremely successful livestream in December 2024, which attracted over 8.5 million views, Ryu’s Office has announced the return of the INDIE Live Expo: Spring Showcase on April 13, 2025. This popular event, which celebrates indie games, has accumulated over 100 million views since its launch in 2020.
The upcoming showcase promises new discoveries, and game submissions are already open. Development teams can submit their projects until February 11th at 6:59 PM PT / 9:59 PM ET. Organizers will select 100 games to be featured during the event, including World Premieres of brand-new titles and updates on previously announced projects.
Among the returning favorite segments are INDIE Waves, which provides quick information about exciting indie games through 15-second clips, and INDIE Spotlight, a segment that explores carefully selected featured titles in more detail. The organizers have also announced brand-new segments, which will bring fresh surprises to this year’s show.
Founder and CEO of Ryu’s Office, Ryuta Konuma, shared his thoughts on the event in a press release: “The innovation we regularly see in the games participating in INDIE Live Expo inspires us to continue advancing the platform we provide. We are bringing more surprises to our upcoming showcase, offering more engaging opportunities for both developers and viewers. Our goal is to make the next event our best show yet!”
