Paradox Interactive announced a collaboration with SquareNite on the release of Darfall, a strategic RPG game with settlement-building mechanics that will be available in Steam Early Access in 2024 under the Paradox Arc publishing initiative.
Darfall is a strategy game where you take control of a hero who explores and travels the world to gain power, while simultaneously managing a burgeoning village with the goal of expanding and transforming it into a larger city. However, as the sun sets, the dark forces that plague the land unleash their servants against your base, and it is your duty as the hero to make a stand in defense of your home. Every night, even when the evil forces are thwarted, the nightly attacks become more dangerous and numerous.
With a mix of RPG, strategy, city-builder, and tower-defense elements, Darfall is sure to test the mettle and determination of players in their quest to contain the darkness. You can find more information about this game on Steam.
