The long-awaited PS1-style dungeon crawler Labyrinth of the Demon King is scheduled for full release in 2025. However, publisher Top Hat Studios, Inc. surprised players by releasing a demo on October 31, now available on Steam.
Labyrinth of the Demon King combines brutal, hardcore dungeon exploration with survival horror elements. Set in a world inspired by ancient feudal Japan and Buddhist folklore, the game pits players against terrifying monsters as they hunt down a demonic traitor.
Relying on resourcefulness and a wide range of weapons, from katanas and naginatas to muskets and bows, players will face dangerous and challenging combat. As you venture through the dark corridors of the Labyrinth, you’ll need to search every corner and manage limited resources. You will also encounter strange characters along the way: some offer useful items, while others provide a moment of rest in this perilous adventure.
