Very little is known about World of Goo 2; aside from the first trailer presented during The Game Awards 2023 event, we still don’t have detailed information about this game.
Fifteen years ago, we dove into the unique puzzle experience of World of Goo, where we connected small blobs of goo to create impressive and barely stable structures. The same is expected (allegedly) in the upcoming sequel, and the developers themselves have been very sparing with information, as they haven’t revealed much even on their own website.
Studio 2DBOY, which is developing World of Goo 2, promises the biggest game they have created so far. The sequel introduces new mechanics, including cannons and fluid segments, with the developer stating that modern hardware gives them the opportunity to realize the full vision for the game.
World of Goo 2 is expected to be available in 2024, but the platforms this game will launch on have not yet been confirmed.
