ARTE, The Pixel Hunt, and Pierre Corbinais have announced that their latest game Wednesdays, which blends storytelling with management elements, is now available for PC and Mac via Steam and itch.io.

“The hardest part isn’t speaking. The hardest part is being heard.” Written by Pierre Corbinais (Haven, Road 96: Prologue, Bury Me, My Love), Wednesdays aims to raise awareness about child sexual abuse through a surprisingly optimistic story. The game is part video game, part graphic novel, designed to be accessible to everyone — even those who don’t normally play games.

Wednesdays tells a fragmented story from multiple perspectives. The game delivers an honest and emotional account of sexual abuse, without taboos but with warmth and empathy. Through scattered memories of the victim, a boy named Tim, this realistic game combines storytelling and theme park management to raise awareness and support healing, all while maintaining a sense of kindness and optimism.
