The tactical fighting game Forestrike, which combines elements of Kung Fu and the supernatural, received a new trailer during The MIX Spring Showcase and confirmed its release for PC (Steam) and Nintendo Switch. This title offers a unique experience of intense battles where every defeat means a return to the start. The game is the latest work from the studio Skeleton Crew, known for the acclaimed 2021 game Olli, and will be published by Devolver Digital.

The plot of Forestrike follows Yu, a martial arts master, who embarks on a great journey to free the Emperor from the influence of an evil Admiral. The key game mechanic is “Foresight,” a meditative technique that allows Yu to visualize the fight before it happens. This ability enables him to infinitely repeat battles to find the perfect sequence of moves that will secure his victory.

Forestrike uses a roguelike design that generates unique encounters, demanding your adaptation and improvisation as key elements for victory. Foresight allows for experimentation without consequence, but the real fight requires precision and strategic thinking. Every victory brings new challenges, and Yu must constantly upgrade himself to survive.
