GOG has announced the return of the cult survival horror game Cold Fear, newly restored and improved for modern systems. The 2005 title, which recently vanished from Steam, is now available fully DRM-free as part of the ongoing GOG Preservation Program.
This new version of Cold Fear ensures that players can finally experience the game as intended, complete with enhanced stability, numerous technical improvements, and quality-of-life upgrades. The restoration work specifically includes support for 4K resolution, modern controllers, and essential bug fixes.
