Multiplayer Game Midnight Murder Club Brings Unique Gameplay Where Darkness Is Your Weapon

Publisher Sony Interactive Entertainment and development studio Velan Studios have announced that the first-person multiplayer shooter Midnight Murder Club will be available in Early Access for PlayStation 5 and PC via Steam starting March 13, 2025. Furthermore, a “Guest Pass Edition” has been introduced, allowing five friends to join the game at no additional cost.

Midnight Murder Club combines first-person shooter and party game elements, offering a thrilling experience where six players hunt each other in the complete darkness of the mysterious Wormwood Manor. Armed only with a revolver and a flashlight, you explore the dark hallways, searching for any glimmer of light or sound that might reveal your target. The tension often turns into laughter as you try to navigate and shoot in total darkness, encountering unexpected run-ins and chaotic skirmishes.

In addition to existing modes like Free for All, Thief in the Night, Team Deathmatch, and Headhunters, Midnight Murder Club introduces a completely new game mode called Wildcards. In this mode, you use cards from your collection to change the rules of the game for all participants in unpredictable ways. From taking control of items in shops, to granting super speed to everyone, or causing explosions upon death, Wildcards brings a new kind of chaos.
