City-building game set high in the mountains, Laysara: Summit Kingdom, is leaving Early Access and launching in full on February 27, 2026. Publisher Nejcraft and developer Quite OK Games confirmed that the full release will arrive at the same time on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam.
The game first entered Early Access on PC in April 2024. From the start, it focused on deep economy systems and careful resource management in a harsh environment, with no combat or armies. Instead, the challenge comes from nature itself and from keeping a fragile society alive on steep, dangerous terrain.
Survival depends on adapting production chains to the land where one settlement may grow crops in mild valleys, while another must rely on animals and mining close to frozen glaciers. You must constantly adjust your plans to match each location and its limits.
Avalanches are one of the biggest threats in the game since they cannot be stopped, but they can be managed. Players can plant forests to slow the snow, build barriers to guide its path, or even trigger smaller avalanches early to avoid total destruction later. Ignoring this danger often leads to cities being buried and wiped out.
Moving goods through the mountains is just as challenging. Steep cliffs, deep canyons, rivers, and narrow ridges make transport difficult. Players must design complex networks of roads, bridges, and shafts to keep supplies flowing. As towns grow, these systems need constant improvement, whether through better roads, lifting structures, or even using sturdy yaks to help carry goods.
