Imagine waking up as a child in a creepy, isolated monastery, with your hand pulsating from a strange, glow-in-the-dark parasite. That’s the unsettling premise of Lighthouse, a new horror adventure that combines exploration and puzzles. This isn’t a typical game full of cheap jumpscares; it’s about a journey where childhood innocence confronts the depraved fanaticism of adults who have completely lost their way in the shadows.

The monastery around you is a labyrinth of oppressive corridors and ghostly silence, interrupted only by the rustling of unseen monsters. That glowing parasite on your hand? It’s your lifeline; it casts a faint light that is simultaneously a guide and a shield in this world. Your mission is to evade the creatures, solve puzzles, and uncover the monastery’s dark secrets to find your way home.

The game’s atmosphere is heavy, as if it’s suffocating you, but the light-based puzzles are what truly steal the spotlight. You’ll use the parasite’s glow to unlock new areas, with each puzzle acting as a small victory against the darkness. As you penetrate deeper, the parasite begins to change, affecting the way you interact with the world around you.

Planned for release on PC via Steam, Lighthouse doesn’t have a release date yet, but it’s already shaping up to be a must-try game for horror fans.
