Development studio 5PM has announced Memoriapolis, an innovative strategic city-building simulation in which players form a thriving metropolis across 2,500 years of history. The game will be available in Early Access via Steam later this year.

In Memoriapolis, players will embark on a long journey, transforming a modest settler camp into a sprawling European metropolis that will become recognizable worldwide. Choose wisely which buildings to keep and which to replace, strategically position the city center, and weigh the advantages of blending historical eras with territorial expansion.

Build and develop your city through four distinct historical periods: Antiquity, the Middle Ages, the Renaissance, and the Age of Enlightenment. Each era brings with it unique architectural styles, challenges, and opportunities. The placement of every building affects the urban dynamic, shaping how your inhabitants use and populate the city. Strategic planning is crucial for maximizing the limited available space.

Across the centuries, you will face crucial decisions that will shape your city’s growth and development. The clash of cultures and the emergence of new political classes bring new challenges to your metropolis, while cultural factions play an important role in shaping the urban landscape, from encouraging political activities to defining different districts and their populations.
