The release of the highly anticipated monster collector RPG LumenTale: Memories of Trey has been pushed back from its previously planned 2025 window to spring 2026. Publisher Team17 and developer Beehive Studios announced the delay, confirming the game will launch on both Nintendo Switch and PC via Steam.

The gameplay blends traditional monster-collecting with deep strategic combat and extensive player freedom: you can test your skills by catching or battling approximately 140 known species of Animon, categorized into 13 elemental types based on the emotion they evoke.

Players can also effortlessly complete their collection through multiple trading methods, including direct trades with friends, community exchanges, or connecting to the Animon Trade Station. Furthermore, you can rest at the Fountain to craft useful items, cook food, and experiment with ingredients to nurture your Animon partners.
