Mouthwashing Sells 500 Thousand Copies, Coming to Consoles Soon

Publisher Critical Reflex and studio Wrong Organ have announced that Mouthwashing, the critically acclaimed first-person horror game, will be released for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and Nintendo Switch in 2025. A physical edition will be available for PlayStation 5 and Switch through Fangamer.

Mouthwashing is a terrifying first-person horror that throws players into the grim aftermath of a space freighter disaster. The story follows the dying crew of a ship stranded in space, forced to face hunger, isolation, and their own slow descent into madness. The narrative focuses on Captain Curly, a man whose failed suicide attempt leaves him with lasting consequences, missing limbs, and unable to speak. As the crew confronts the inevitable end, they are forced not only to survive the horrors of their situation but also to uncover the captain’s dark secrets.
