Armenian studio Aya Games has revealed Ayasa: Shadow of the Silence, an atmospheric platformer that blends horror elements with story-driven, quest-based exploration. The game is planned for a 2025 release on PC via Steam, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch, promising a mysterious and engaging adventure.
Players will navigate the so-called Inverted World, a kingdom that once balanced good and evil under the watchful eye of the god Tasha. However, this harmony has shattered, plunging six lands, representing faith, hope, love, greed, indifference, and betrayal, into chaos. Armed with fragments of Tasha’s light, protagonist Ayasa must travel through these fractured realms to restore balance and fend off the encroaching darkness.
Ayasa’s unique powers, including time manipulation, invisibility, and energy control, will be essential for solving puzzles, outsmarting enemies, and traversing dangerous environments. The game emphasizes tense horror elements and aims to provide a haunting narrative experience where player choice matters, all set against a backdrop of uncertainty and moral complexity.
