Open Playtest for Dungeonborne (Formerly Project Crawl) Starts Soon

Mithril Interactive has announced that the upcoming dungeon-crawl and PvPvE game Dungeonborne (formerly known as Project Crawl) will hold an open playtest for two weeks during Steam Next Fest, from February 5th to February 12th.

UPDATE: The open playtest for Dungeonborne will begin on February 2nd at 7:00 PM CET, and will run until the end of Steam Next Fest.

This playtest will feature a plethora of new content, and prior to the open test, a 48-hour “QA Test” will also be run with a full progress wipe to ensure from Mithril Interactive that the servers and version are stable for the upcoming Steam Next Fest.

It’s important to note that this QA test will be conducted exclusively on NA servers. A limited number of keys (approximately 3,000) will be available for distribution. The Next Fest Demo, on the other hand, will be accessible to everyone, with servers available in three locations—NA, EU, and Asia.

How to Sign Up for the QA Test:

  • You must sign up via the Dungeonborne Discord server, where you will need to fill out a survey.
  • The first batch of 1,500 keys will be sent on Monday.
  • The second wave, with 1,500 keys, begins on Tuesday.
  • The QA test officially begins on Wednesday and lasts for 48 hours.
  • It will end on Friday night/Saturday morning, and all progress will be wiped.

Dungeonborne still does not have a concrete release date, but it is expected to be available on PC via Steam.
