Developer SIGONO and publisher Shueisha Games have announced a delay for their upcoming title OPUS: Prism Peak. Originally scheduled for a late 2025 release, the introspective adventure game is now planned to launch in March 2026 on PC via Steam.

The studios issued a statement confirming that the decision was made after a careful review of the development schedule, with the goal of ensuring the game reaches the necessary level of quality and polish.

“We’re truly sorry for the delay. We know this isn’t the news you were hoping for,” the development team stated. “But we believe this extra time will help us polish the game further and bring it closer to the vision we want to deliver. Everyone at SIGONO is giving their best, and we’re committed to bringing OPUS: Prism Peak to you in its strongest form when it arrives in March 2026.”

OPUS: Prism Peak sets itself apart with a focus on photography and narrative choices. The story follows a photojournalist protagonist who finds himself in a nostalgic, faded world inhabited by animal spirits. His journey takes an introspective turn when he encounters a young girl suffering from amnesia.
