Kingsgrave is an upcoming metroidvania and adventure game developed by Egg or Chicken Games and published by Alawar. The game invites you to take on the role of a long-dead king, awakened by a spirit with one goal—to revive the kingdom that has been gripped by a vicious sickness.
Your lands are devastated, surviving subjects have abandoned their homes, and monsters created from fragmented diseased souls have taken their places, devouring everything alive. It’s time to awaken, unify the scattered lands, conquer the darkness, and lead your people toward prosperity, as in ancient times. Kingsgrave promises a gameplay experience that combines a deep story, challenging gameplay with a unique building feature, diverse puzzles, and impressive pixelated graphics.
Unlock new skills by gathering resources, building houses, and defeating enemies to bring the scattered people home. A king’s true power lies in his domains and people; by restoring them, you become more powerful. Destroy monsters, rescue subjects, and cleanse the land of rotten creatures to restore life.
