Retro Survival Horror Game Phase Zero Unveiled During The MIX Showcase

The first trailer for Phase Zero, an upcoming survival horror title inspired by the genre’s golden age, was unveiled during The MIX Spring Showcase. It will be available for PC via Steam, offering a story told in a serial format, with each chapter following one of two protagonists. A demo version of the game will be available soon.

Phase Zero brings back the eerie tension characteristic of survival horror games from the nineties. Confront mutated monsters as you fight for your life or simply try to escape. The game offers a fully immersive 3D rendered environment to explore, with exciting sound effects and music that will give you chills. The cameras are carefully positioned, featuring cinematic fixed angles.

The game’s plot takes place in Flint Peak, a post-industrial port town in the middle of nowhere. The year is 1994, and a relentless snowstorm threatens the small town. To make matters worse, a mysterious illness is rapidly spreading, leaving most of the town’s inhabitants mutated. At the center of the chaos are two unlikely survivors: Mary, a journalist who has just arrived in Flint Peak, and Guy, an injured engineer. Armed with only what they can find, they must survive the night.
