Genre-bending horror game CloverPit that blends the addictive mechanics of a roguelite with the high stakes of a slot machine, is set to launch on PC via Steam on September 3, 2025. Developed by Italian indie duo Panik Arcade and published by Future Friends Games, the title whose demo attracted over 700,000 downloads and earned a spot in Steam’s top 100 most-wishlisted games.
Described as a “roguelite slot machine nightmare” and the “demonic lovechild of Balatro and Buckshot Roulette”, CloverPit traps you in a rusty cell where your only hope of survival is to pay off an ever-growing debt to a menacing ATM. You can use over 150 items, charms, and synergies to bend the machine’s odds in your favor, triggering massive combos and dazzling payouts.
It features meta-progression, multiple endings, and an Endless Mode for those who like to chase high-scores. A key disclaimer from the developers assures players that the game is not a gambling simulator; the slot machine is designed to be broken and overcome with strategy, and there are no real-money mechanics.
