Publisher Knights Peak and developer Windup Games have announced that their open-world adventure game, Hela, will be released in 2026. The game will be available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store. A version for the Switch 2 has also been confirmed during latest Nintendo Direct.
In Hela, players will experience the world through the eyes of a brave mouse. The game promises to be a beautiful 3D adventure where you can explore beautiful landscapes inspired by the natural beauty of Scandinavia. As you travel, you’ll need to solve puzzles and act as a force for good in a world that blends heartwarming stories with the wonders of nature.
The game is designed to be a cooperative experience. You can play solo or team up with friends through local split-screen multiplayer or online co-op. Together, you can explore the rich and vibrant environments, from rugged mountain trails and magical forests to peaceful lakes.
