Publisher Serenity Forge and developer Studio HazeDenki have officially announced Sister Other Paranoia alongside a new trailer, introducing what looks to be a deeply disturbing interactive story filled with paranoia, obsession, and deteriorating mental health. You can wishlist the game on Steam.

The game follows a quiet university student who possesses the unusual ability to perceive the emotions of others as colors. Seeking refuge from his difficult home life, he spends most of his time isolated with his younger sister, reading books and writing a light novel. However, as resentment, jealousy, and hostility begin to surround him both online and in the real world, his mental state starts to unravel.

Rather than focusing on traditional horror elements, Sister Other Paranoia leans heavily into psychological tension. You will make dialogue choices that influence how the protagonist responds to the people around him, with those decisions gradually shaping relationships and leading characters toward very different outcomes.

Fans of NEEDY GIRL OVERDOSE will likely recognize the same unsettling atmosphere and themes. Studio HazeDenki describes the project as drawing inspiration from “denpa” horror, a Japanese subgenre known for its surreal, disturbing, and often emotionally uncomfortable storytelling.
