Streets of Rogue 2, the upcoming urban sandbox RPG, has revealed a new trailer during the Convergence Showcase. Developer Matt Dabrowski, in collaboration with publisher tinyBuild, gave fans a glimpse of the many character options before the game launches on Steam Early Access on October 22, 2024.
The trailer highlights a wide variety of playstyles and characters, each offering a unique way to experience the chaos of an open-world city. Players can wreak havoc with terrain-destroying weapons such as machine guns, flamethrowers, and even creative gadgets like shrink rays and banana peels. The action is designed to be chaotic and fun, with endless ways to defeat enemies and disrupt city life.
If combat isn’t your style, you can play as a farmer, build a peaceful homestead, and raise livestock. The game’s freedom lets you choose between wild adventures or simply relaxing on the beach while managing a city full of chaos.
The game also supports both solo and multiplayer modes, allowing players to go it alone or team up with friends to take down a corrupt mayor.
