Team Breakout has announced Deeper, a survival game that combines the underwater exploration of Subnautica with the co-op mechanics of Raft. The game is expected to launch into Steam Early Access in 2025, inviting players on an underwater adventure filled with treasure, sunken ships, and deadly creatures.

In Deeper, you can team up with up to six friends to explore the ocean depths, uncovering hidden secrets, forgotten creatures, and valuable resources. But danger lurks at every turn, and survival is not guaranteed. The game challenges you to carefully plan your equipment, divide roles, and strategize, or simply jump in and hope for the best outcome.

Team Breakout, a small team developing the game in their spare time, chose Early Access to involve the community in the development process. “Early Access is the best option for the game to become quickly available to everyone and progress with the help of the community,” the team explained.

The current Early Access version includes two repeatable expeditions with varying difficulty and reward settings, as well as a variety of equipment and useful items. The team plans to expand the game with new expeditions, unique enemies, and additional equipment based on player feedback.
