The studio behind the hit game Sticky Business, Spellgarden Games, has announced its next project: Thrifty Business. This cozy management game lets players create and run their own vintage thrift shop and is planned to launch on PC via Steam in 2026. The first trailer was shown during the Wholesome Snack 2025 Showcase.

In Thrifty Business, players take over a new thrift store inspired by the 1990s and the main goal is to dig through boxes filled with second-hand treasures and use them to build eye-catching displays. Good organization and thoughtful decoration are key to turning the shop into a warm, welcoming place for the community.

Players can shape the layout of their store by carefully placing shelves, racks, and other furniture. Items can be sorted by color, theme, purpose, or any system they choose. A tidy and attractive store earns “community points,” which unlock new decorations and customization options. These range from furniture and wall art to wallpaper and flooring, all helping the shop feel even cozier.

Thrifty Business also focuses on the people who visit the shop where players will meet a variety of customers, listen to their stories, and try to help them find what they need. Over time, the store becomes an important gathering place, strengthened further by hosting hobby events that turn the shop into a true community hub.
