The newly founded studio Onibi, composed of developers who previously worked on titles such as World of Warcraft, Baldur’s Gate 3, and Fortnite, has revealed its debut project — Tomo: Endless Blue. This anime-inspired RPG centered around monster hunting is set in a vast oceanic world and is planned to launch on Steam in late 2026.

In a world where civilizations have vanished, their remains now exist as floating islands scattered across an endless blue sea. Each of these procedurally generated islands features its own culture, villages, characters, and mysterious creatures known as Tomo. As you explore, you’ll uncover a variety of stories — from battling alongside your Tomo companions to building intricate vehicles out of voxel blocks.

Tomo creatures can assist you in combat, farming, and crafting. The game’s voxel-based physics system allows for complete creative freedom — players can build anything from ships and cranes to airships. Combat is dynamic and environment-driven, where blocks can be used defensively as shields or combined with elemental attacks for unique tactical maneuvers.

The cinematic trailer, accompanied by an emotional score composed by Ai Higuchi (known for Attack on Titan) and arranged by Cécile Corbel and Simon Caby, teases heartfelt stories within this striking world. Tomo: Endless Blue also offers flexible gameplay options, allowing players to experience it solo, in local co-op, or online with an unlimited number of players.
