Polyscape has confirmed that NAMAKORIUM, its fast-paced underwater cooperative RTS, will enter Steam Early Access on January 30, 2026. First revealed during indie showcases in late 2025, the game launches with a base price of around 10 euros.

The setting imagines a quiet post-apocalyptic future where pollution has erased most marine life. What remains are the Namakos, sea cucumbers tasked with cleaning and restoring the ocean. The Early Access release expands far beyond last year’s demo, introducing eight full stages with rising difficulty. A new Random Match option also allows solo runs to connect with up to three others, making it easier to jump straight into the action without forming a group in advance.

Progress depends on smart use of different Namako types, each designed for a specific job. Shell Namakos collect limestone for construction, while Iron Namakos handle heavy mining duties. Some areas can only be explored using Flame or Ice Namakos, which survive extreme heat or freezing currents. Every mission requires careful planning, especially when Blight Namakos appear. These corrupted creatures spoil food supplies and force teams to work together to activate the powerful Namako Fusion Cannon.

The world reacts directly to each cleanup effort. As polluted water is restored, the ocean floor slowly transforms into bright coral reefs. This revival draws in more than 40 Scenic Creatures and Polyscape has also confirmed that new creatures, mechanics, and stages will be added throughout the Early Access period to keep the experience growing.
