Motion Twin has released one of the biggest updates yet for Windblown, significantly reworking progression while adding a wealth of new content for players to discover. Known as the Hunters Gonna Hunt update, version 0.10 is now available in Steam Early Access and introduces a completely refreshed approach to how progression items are earned and tracked.

The biggest change revolves around Memonites, one of the game’s most important resources. These items are now more closely connected to specific biomes, enemies, secrets, and bosses, encouraging players to explore the world more thoroughly instead of simply repeating the same routes.

To support this new structure, Motion Twin has introduced systems that help players track the items they need while also rebalancing rewards and progression costs. The goal is to make advancement feel more meaningful and easier to understand.

The update also delivers a substantial amount of new content. You can experiment with five new trinkets and more than 30 new Gifts that introduce fresh synergies, pet-focused builds, status effect enhancements, and movement-based abilities. Combined with support for multiple rare affixes, build variety has received a significant boost.

Elsewhere, a new Codex helps you keep track of enemies and equipment across different biomes, while older currencies and systems have been streamlined to reduce unnecessary complexity.
