Tactical Adventures, the French indie studio behind the critically acclaimed tactical RPG Solasta: Crown of the Magister, has announced a majority investment from Kepler Interactive, a global video game company known for supporting innovative and creative studios. This partnership marks a new chapter for Tactical Adventures as they continue to develop Solasta II, the highly anticipated sequel to their debut title.
The studio was founded in 2018 by Mathieu Girard, and Tactical Adventures quickly earned a reputation following the 2021 release of Solasta: Crown of the Magister. The game was praised for its deep tactical gameplay, faithful adaptation of the Dungeons & Dragons 5th Edition ruleset, and engaging storytelling. The studio recently unveiled Solasta II during The Game Awards event in December.
Solasta II is currently in development for PC and is expected to enter Early Access on Steam in 2025.
