The cult-classic BloodRayne series is set to make its return in a new definitive package, bringing together all three main entries of the franchise in one modernized release. Announced by publisher Strictly Limited in collaboration with Ziggurat Interactive, the BloodRayne: Definitive Collection will launch on PlayStation 5 and Nintendo Switch, offering enhanced versions of the games alongside premium physical editions aimed at collectors and longtime fans.
The collection includes BloodRayne: Terminal Cut, BloodRayne 2: Terminal Cut, and BloodRayne Betrayal: Fresh Bites, delivering the complete story of the dhampir heroine Rayne. Players will once again step into the role of the half-human, half-vampire agent of the Brimstone Society, battling supernatural forces, occult threats, and powerful vampire enemies across multiple time periods.
This new release features updated versions of the games optimized for modern platforms, with improved performance, stability, and visual enhancements. Players can expect upgraded textures, high-resolution support, and quality-of-life improvements that refine the original gameplay while preserving its core identity. The collection also highlights the series’ varied mechanics, combining third-person combat, shooting elements, and fast-paced 2D platforming into one cohesive package.
The standard Limited Edition includes all three games on disc or cartridge along with a printed manual, while the Deluxe Edition adds collectibles such as an artbook, original soundtrack CD, poster, and other bonus items. Pre-orders opened on March 26, 2026, and will run until May 3, with the official release scheduled for July 29, 2026.
