The action RPG with adventure and puzzle elements, Dungeons of Hinterberg, the acclaimed game from Microbird Games, is coming to PlayStation 5 on March 13, 2025. The game was originally released as an Xbox exclusive on July 18, 2024, for Xbox Series X/S and PC (Steam), and its arrival on PS5 marks a significant expansion of its audience.
Dungeons of Hinterberg is a charming action RPG set in an idyllic alpine village, filled with dungeons, puzzles, and magical creatures. Players take on the role of a young adventurer who explores the mysterious dungeons scattered throughout the village. Using a combination of weapons and magic, you will fight monsters, solve complex puzzles, and uncover the hidden secrets of Hinterberg.
The game has received praise for its beautiful visual style, engaging gameplay, and intelligent puzzle design. With an average score of 81 on OpenCritic, Dungeons of Hinterberg quickly became a favorite among indie game fans. The PS5 version comes with a special bonus: a new, mysterious episode that adds even more content to the base game.
