Maid of the Dead Will Be Available for PC and Nintendo Switch Next Month

The omni-directional shooting action game Maid of the Dead will launch for the Nintendo Switch on February 15th, followed by a release on PC via Steam this spring, announced the studio qureate. The game aims to restore peace to the city of Akiba by controlling maids who use weapons to defeat zombies.

Abrupt changes hit the city of Akiba when a virus suddenly appears, transforming people into zombies. Although most tried to save themselves, the virus quickly infects everyone. In the center of the chaos, Nagisa Hihara discovers that her blood may contain a special antibody to suppress the virus. With new hope, she prepares for battle to save her friend Rinka and any other survivors she can find along her path.

In the game, we will be able to control 6 different characters: Nagisa Hihara (voiced by Karin Isobe), Rinka Kazane (voiced by Lynn), Arisa Hikami (voiced by Yuuki Takada), Kanon Mikagami (voiced by Anzu Haruno), and two other new unannounced characters.

By overpowering hordes of zombies and advancing to higher levels, you have the opportunity to acquire random skills. These include abilities such as firing projectiles, controlling flying drones, and much more. With each new level, you can choose one of four options, including gaining or strengthening a weapon. During battle, your meters will fill over time, and when they are fully charged, you can use each maid’s ultimate attack.

Additionally, you must spray medicine on all maids who have been zombified or maids who have run out of HP. Be sure to give it your all when mixing the medicine, as that will increase its effectiveness.
