A group of seasoned industry veterans who previously worked at Mojang and Coffee Stain have joined forces to establish Three Friends, a new indie publishing house dedicated to supporting and developing indie game developers in the Nordic countries. The co-founders of Three Friends are Albert Säfström, Daniel Kaplan, Sebastian Badylak, and Johan Hermeren, and their goal is to help developers create games by adhering to three key principles: Get in Early, Build Right, and Choose the Right Battles.

The team behind Three Friends brings a wealth of experience gained from working on legendary games such as Minecraft and Valheim. Their mission is to provide indie developers with the necessary support and guidance to realize their creative visions. By engaging with developers in the early stages of development, Three Friends will help them refine the core gameplay and highlight the elements that make their games special.

Albert Säfström, one of the co-founders, emphasized that creating a great game is not the result of one big idea, but of solving thousands of smaller questions during development. The Three Friends team works closely with developers to create an environment where ideas can mature without losing focus, ensuring that teams make the best use of their time and resources.

Three Friends plans to reveal their first developer partners and the games in the pipeline later this year, giving players a glimpse into the exciting projects they are working on.
