Just as we thought we might have a month off from new game releases, September proves us wrong. The month is packed with so many titles that you’ll have to be selective about what you play. In fact, we were tempted to expand this list even further, as it’s impossible to pick just a few of the best. Nevertheless, here are our top 12 indie games releasing in September.

These transformations, tied to traversal and combat, offer a fresh platforming mechanic where the game integrates platforming with puzzles and combat.
