Atmos Games and Saber Interactive’s 3D Realms publishing label have announced that Twisted Tower will launch for PC via Steam on August 18. The upcoming action-adventure FPS throws you into an abandoned 1950s theme park filled with deadly traps, grotesque fairy-tale mascots, and long-buried secrets waiting at the top of the mysterious tower.

You take on waves of corrupted mascots using an unusual arsenal of toy-inspired weapons, including a whack-a-mole mallet, rubber-band pistol, dart-firing Tommy Gun, bubblegum-spewing chaingun, sniper slingshot, fart-powered shotgun, and even a skull-popping ray gun. Weapons can be upgraded throughout the adventure, while collectible toys unlock new traversal abilities such as dashing, grappling, and enhanced jumping.

The story unfolds across five distinct locations within the abandoned resort, including a haunted hotel, an eerie waterpark, a clown-themed casino, a carnival forest, and a mysterious space station. According to the developer Thomas Brush, players will also encounter branching routes throughout the campaign, encouraging multiple playthroughs with different paths to the tower’s summit.

Beyond its fast-paced first-person combat, Twisted Tower promises environmental puzzles, platforming challenges, and an emotional narrative centered on climbing the tower to rescue the protagonist’s lost love while uncovering the dark history hidden beneath the abandoned attraction.
