Publisher Mindscape, developer Aesir, and entertainment company Spin Master have announced Unicorn Academy: Island of Magic, a new adventure game based on the popular Unicorn Academy fantasy series. The game is in development for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam.
Set on the magical Unicorn Island, you step into the role of a first-year student at Unicorn Academy, where you will form a bond with their own unicorn, master elemental magic, and uncover the island’s hidden secrets. Along the way, you will also join familiar characters from the television series to stop the villain Ravenzella from corrupting and taking control of the island.
You will be able to switch between their custom character and members of the Sapphires, each accompanied by unicorns with unique magical abilities. Elemental powers can be used both during exploration and to solve environmental puzzles scattered throughout the world.
Beyond the main adventure, Unicorn Academy: Island of Magic offers several customization and companion features. Players can personalize both their character and unicorn with different outfits and appearances, while also grooming, playing with, and racing alongside their magical companion to strengthen their bond.
