The award-winning indie studio Cosmo D Studios has announced Moves of the Diamond Hand, an all-new first-person narrative RPG set in a surreal, jazz-infused dystopian city. The game, which builds on the mechanics of their previous award-winning title Betrayal At Club Low, will be released in multiple chapters via Steam Early Access. The first chapter is already available as a free demo, while the full version is set to launch in mid-2025.

Moves of the Diamond Hand takes you to the peculiar streets of Off-Peak City, where you embark on a quest to gain membership in the legendary Circus X, an elite art collective. However, Circus X is not accepting new members, and the path to joining is filled with challenges. You will explore a web of intrigue, encounter eccentric characters with their own agendas, and get drawn into the most bizarre mayoral election. One of the candidates is a clone of a mayor from the last century, while a mysterious figure known as The Diamond Hand pulls the strings from the shadows.

The game brings several unique features that set it apart from classic RPGs. It fully embraces the spirit of tabletop RPGs, where dice represent stats, items, conditions, and even disguises. Cosmo D Studios is known for its emphasis on music and atmosphere, and Moves of the Diamond Hand continues that tradition. The jazz-filled soundtrack and the dense, surreal atmosphere create an experience unlike any other game.
