Daedalic Entertainment, along with developers Yullia Prokhorova and Timur Bogotov, presented an emotional story trailer for Woodo, the upcoming relaxing 3D puzzle game. The trailer, shown during the ID@Xbox Showcase, offers a first look at the charming narrative and picturesque world that players will explore.
Woodo introduces you to a handcrafted diorama world, inspired by dear memories of a summer spent in a village. The game follows Foxy, a young fox spending the summer in a remote village with her distant cousin, Ben the Frog. Accustomed to a digital lifestyle, Foxy initially struggles to adapt to the new environment. But with Ben’s support and a shared adventure to a place special to him, Foxy discovers the magic of creativity and begins to make her own memories.
As the game progresses, you assemble dioramas, each representing a special moment from Foxy’s summer. A narrator guides you through the story, providing company and support as you put together the objects and moments that bring the narrative to life. The gameplay is based on a unique object-finding mechanic, where you must locate and assemble parts to complete each diorama.
The game will be released on Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch 1+2, and PC via Steam.
