The classic Winx Club franchise is returning to consoles with a new adventure titled Winx Club: The Magic is Back. The game was announced by Maximum Entertainment and Rainbow, the studio behind the original Iginio Straffi. This marks the first Winx Club video game in more than ten years. It is planned for release on PC via Steam, Nintendo Switch, and PlayStation 5 in April 2026.

The game will launch alongside the new animated series Winx Club: The Magic is Back. Together, they aim to reintroduce the fairies to a new generation while giving longtime fans something new to enjoy. The game mixes magical combat, puzzle-solving, and cooperative play to bring the world of Winx to life in a new way.

Players will get the chance to explore several well-known locations from the Winx Club universe. These include Alfea College, the Desert Ruins of Red Fountain, the Coastal Cliffs, and the Enchanted Forest. Throughout the adventure, you can switch between all six fairies, each with their own unique powers.

Winx Club: The Magic is Back can also be played with a friend in two-player local co-op, letting you face tough enemies and explore together. The mix of action, teamwork, and exploration aims to capture the spirit that has made Winx Club popular around the world.

The first 13 CGI-revived episodes of the new animated series have already aired on major broadcasters such as CBBC and iPlayer in the UK, TF1 in France, and RAI in Italy. The show is also streaming on Netflix, where it reached the #1 Kids’ spot in more than 40 countries.
