Lifeline Game Studio has released a new trailer for its upcoming cinematic platformer Deer & Boy, shown during Summer Game Fest 2024. While the official release date remains unannounced, the newly revealed footage offers a glimpse into the game’s poetic narrative and visually beautiful world.
You’ll follow the journey of a young boy who, after experiencing a tragic event, decides to escape the harsh reality of his life. This escape marks the beginning of a beautiful adventure filled with heartwarming moments and unexpected friendships.
In his quest for peace, the boy meets a fawn, and the two embark on a unique journey together. As the story unfolds, their bond grows stronger with every challenge they face. The fawn eventually matures into a majestic deer, becoming a crucial ally in helping the boy rebuild his life. Deer & Boy tells a story of survival, growth, and resilience. The boy’s path involves solving puzzles and avoiding enemies, adding layers of strategy and dexterity to the gameplay.
As their friendship deepens, the boy and the deer develop new abilities needed to overcome the obstacles ahead. This evolving dynamic keeps the experience fresh and engaging, with both characters learning to rely on each other more and more.
