Publisher Devolver Digital and studio DeadToast Entertainment, known for the hit game My Friend Pedro, have announced Shotgun Cop Man, a side-scrolling precision platformer coming to Nintendo Switch and PC via Steam in 2025. A demo version is already available for PC, allowing players to experience the explosive action and unique mechanics of the game.
In Shotgun Cop Man, you take on the role of a relentless cop on a mission to apprehend Satan himself. Armed with an arsenal of powerful weapons, you will blast your way through the twisted corners of hell, using your weapon not just for combat, but also for air traversal. This innovative mechanic turns every shot into a movement tool, allowing you to dodge enemies, climb walls, and leap over impossible obstacles.
The game features a hand-crafted campaign with over 150 levels, filled with hordes of agitated demons, insidious traps, and exciting challenges. You can test your skills in No Damage, Speedrun, and Kill All modes, or delve into user-generated levels.
