Global independent publisher Grindstone and studio Games Farm have announced Jötunnslayer: Hordes of Hel, a new roguelike game that will take players into the dark realms of Norse mythology, where they will face hordes of enemies. This game is coming to PC via Steam Early Access this fall, while a playable demo will be available in May.
Dive deep into dynamic battles against uncompromising waves of enemies, facing the relentless pressure of a time limit. Each encounter challenges your skills and reflexes as you fight for survival in the unforgiving Norse underworld. Test yourself with demanding missions and quests during every fight, adding depth to your journey through nine distinct worlds. These quests require fulfilling specific objectives or overcoming additional obstacles to win the biggest possible rewards.
Advance your character through a metaprogression system that offers various perks and upgrades you can unlock. As you progress, you’ll unlock new abilities, enhancements, and bonuses that will improve your gameplay and increase your odds of survival, and choose from diverse characters, each with a unique set of skills, abilities, and weapons. Additionally, boss fights await you.
