Hudepohl have announced that Labyrinth Of The Demon King, a retro first-person survival horror game, will be released on May 13, 2025, for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam. The game promises a chilling dungeon-crawling experience set in a mythical feudal Japan overrun by demons.
In Labyrinth Of The Demon King, you play as an Ashigaru, a lone foot soldier in the service of Takeda Nobumitsu. The world is in chaos during the late age of Dharma, with wars, disease, and famine, while demons roam free. Guided by a vow to avenge your lord, you embark on a quest for the Demon King, entering a perilous labyrinth that may be your final journey.
The game immerses you in a dark, retro-inspired world, merging the aesthetics of feudal Japan with a dark, sinister art style. Combat is brutal and challenging, requiring skill and strategy as you use weapons like katanas, naginatas, muskets, and bows to fight against Yōkai and other creatures from ancient myths.
