Publisher Hyperstrange has announced that No Sun To Worship, a stealth action game developed by Merlino Games, will be released for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S in 2025. The game first debuted on PC via Steam on September 15, 2023, and is now bringing its minimalist, retro-inspired stealth experience to consoles.
No Sun To Worship draws inspiration from the pioneers of the stealth genre, blending their retro aesthetic with a chilling post-apocalyptic environment. Across six compact chapters, the challenge is to master infiltration and assassinations. The game offers the freedom to creatively approach each level – you’ll sneak through shadows, crawl past enemies, disable cameras, or shatter lights to remain hidden. You can quietly eliminate targets, start shootouts, or adapt on the fly, especially when resources run low.
Set in a world devastated by nuclear war, No Sun To Worship uses the environment and non-verbal storytelling to unveil its narrative. You explore a desolate landscape where survivors try to rebuild the world while mysterious, otherworldly observers silently watch. The game’s stark, dying world further adds weight to every stealth move and decision.
