Top Hat Studios and developer Regular Studio have announced that MOTORSLICE, an action-adventure game with parkour elements, will be released on PC via Steam in late 2025 or early 2026. Inspired by the Prince of Persia series, this game promises a unique combination of fluid movement, brutal combat, and a minimalist story set in an impressive world.
In MOTORSLICE, you play as “P,” a girl who receives a routine assignment: enter an abandoned megastructure, eliminate rebellious machines, and leave. However, upon arrival, she is confronted by a massive, terrifying machine, discovering that the mission is far from ordinary. The game takes place in liminal landscapes, where you use parkour skills like climbing, running, and sliding to navigate the expansive environments.
You will also face epic battles against colossal machines, which you will climb upon during various encounters. The game’s challenges also extend beyond combat, including puzzles that require creative thinking. The beautiful pixel low-poly visuals create an atmospheric, minimalist world, while the story with slice-of-life elements anchors P’s adventure through the mysteries of the megastructure.
