This September marks three decades since the PlayStation launched in North America and Europe, an event that changed the landscape of popular culture. In celebration of this significant milestone, Sony Interactive Entertainment is giving fans a dual dose of nostalgia: a definitive visual history book and a limited-edition sneaker collaboration with Reebok.
The centerpiece of the anniversary celebration is PlayStation: The First 30 Years, a new large-format photography book slated to hit bookshelves worldwide in Spring 2026. This 400-page visual journey offers a rare glimpse into the brand’s evolution, featuring never-before-seen prototypes, concept sketches, and design models that shaped hardware development at Sony Interactive Entertainment.
